Thomas Bartsch from the University of Giessen will visit us for a few days. On Thursday at 2 pm, he will give his talk with the title Normalized solutions to nonlinear Schrödinger equations in our Karlsruhe PDE Seminar. We look forward to his presentation.

After the 30th edition of the Biennial Conference in Numerical Analysis a prize committee decided to award the three SIAM UKIE Best Student Talk prizes to Astrid Herremans (KU Leuven), Felix Krumbiegel (KIT), and Katherine Mackenzie (U of Strathclyde). Congratulations to all of them, especially to our colleague Felix.
